Moisten the bar of soap and rub it until you get foam.
Rub the brush hair and foam against a glove, silicone pad, or the palm of your hand.
Rinse with plenty of water. If the brush is very dirty you can repeat the process until the water runs clear.
Let the brush dry with the hair facing down (without resting it) so that water does not penetrate the handle.
