PHA is a new generation chemical exfoliant and, due to its larger molecular size compared to classic AHAs, it has a lower penetration capacity, making it generally better tolerated by sensitive skin.
Plus, being a rinse-off product, it's even more suitable for first-time chemical exfoliants as it doesn't stay on the skin for long.
The formula also includes extracts of Saponaria, a plant rich in saponins that has been used since ancient times in Eurasia to produce natural soap.
