The degree of difficulty in removing Gel iQ will depend on the state and condition of your nails. This second method is very effective to remove the gel in case you have not been able to remove it with Gel iQ Remover Oil Method 1.
What you need to carry out and complete this method:
- Gel iQ Remover. Purchased separately.
- Bands Gel iQ Removal Wraps Foil.
Protect the surface on which you are going to remove the polish with a towel and make sure that the work area is well ventilated.
Remove the product from one hand first and then the other, since it is more difficult to do it with the bands placed on both hands.
It is important that the bands are properly sealed as the nail polish remover liquid evaporates very quickly and the effect will be lost.
Leave the bands on all fingers until you start to scratch the surface of the nails.
If the band is removed too soon, the liquid will evaporate, which makes it difficult to remove it as the gel hardens again. For best results, it is advisable to have a cotton pad soaked in abundant iQ Remover Gel during the process.
- Generously apply iQ Remover Gel to the inner cotton part of the foil band, place the cotton on the nail and seal the foil sheet firmly around the nail. Make sure the soaked cotton surface covers the nail completely.
- Wait 15 minutes. Important! The time to take effect depends on the condition and type of the nails. Open the band on one finger to see if the gel has softened. If you have, gently remove it with an orange stick, being careful not to damage the nail. Keep all the wraps closed on the other fingers until you start on the next finger. If the gel hasn't softened enough, reseal the wrapper and wait a few more minutes.
- Once the gel is removed, wash your hands with plenty of soap and water.
- Finish by applying a nourishing cream or oil to your nails and cuticles to prevent them from drying out.
